Come and listen, all you who fear God, let me tell you what he has done for me.  

 Psalm 66:16

This fellow is just a sinner, who once was lost, 

but now am found in this City of Turmoil. 

Being forgiven and redeemed, now he becomes a pilgrim, 

who is stepping on his pilgrimage to the Celestial City. 

On his pilgrimage, he meets many people and things, 

and he would like to share it with those who like to listen.

This small passage was inspired from the book
Pilgrim Progress by John Bunyan.

Don't expect me to teach you
"Trust yourself",
"Have self-confidence", or
"Have faith in yourself".

I will only teach you to
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding." (Prov. 3:5)
"Do not be wise in your own eyes,
fear the LORD and shun evil." (Prov. 3:7)

Some people nominated me,
because I get 5 for every subject,
and I was otlichnik for every semester,
though all these are facts,
but I never deserve any of them,
it is by grace and mercy I get all these.

Some people say I know everything,
the fact is, I just know what I know,
only God knows everything.

Some people say I am smart,
the fact is, I am just a fool,
for the foolishness of God
is wiser than my wisdom.

Some people say I have good memory,
the fact is, my memory is bad,
so tell me the story often, for I forget so soon;
only God can remember everything.

Some people say I can do everything,
the fact is, apart from Him I can do nothing, (Jn. 15:5)
only God can make everything happen.

Some people say I can do the impossible,
the fact is, with man it is impossible,
only with God everything is possible. (Mt. 19:26)

Some people say I get avtomat for all the available subjects,
the fact is, I only got 2 official avtomats,
and I didn't get avtomat for ambulance,
only God has all the avtomats,
only He by himself exists automatically.

Some people say I am a good teacher,
the fact is, sometime what I teach is wrong,
so kindly correct me when I am wrong,
there is only one Great Teacher,
and His name is Jesus Christ.

Some people say I am good,
the fact is, I am not any better than you,
because like everyone else, I am sinner,
dead in my transgressions and sins, (Eph. 1:2)
only God is good.

Some people say I have a kind heart,
the fact is, my heart is hard like a stone,
listen not to the advice of other,
only God has a heart,
always listen to His children's prayers.

Some people say I am righteous,
because I never skip lectures
the fact is, my righteousness is just like filthy rags,
and actually I did skipped lectures once (bad example),
only God is righteous.

Some people say I am holy,
because I never copy in tests,
the fact is, I am not holier than thou,
and actually I did copied before (bad example again),
only God is holy.

Some people say I am perfect,
the fact is, I am imperfect,
only God is perfect.

I am not the 'Great I am'
But by the grace of God I am what I am,
and his grace to me was not without effect.
No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I,
but the grace of God that was with me. (1 Cor. 15:10)

I am just an imperfect person like everyone else.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, 
for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,
so that Christ's power may rest on me.
That is why, for Christ's sake,
I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.
For when I am weak, then I am strong. 
(2 Cor. 12:9,10)
